We are delighted to announce that Brazilian fullback James Santos has returned to FC Pyunik.

The 30-year-old footballer previously played for Brazilian clubs Inter de Lages, Bragantino, Sampaio Correa and Campinense.

In August 2019, James moved to Ararat Yerevan and then spent the following season at Urartu Yerevan.

In 2021-23, James Santos played for another Armenian club, Alashkert Yerevan. With the latter, he played 5 matches of the 2021/22 Conference League group stage.

In January 2023, the Brazilian footballer moved to Pyunik and quickly secured his position in the main squad of our team. In the 2023/24 season, he became the champion of Armenia with Pyunik. In total, James played 72 matches for our team, scoring 8 goals and providing 9 assists.

James Santos’ previous team was Noah Yerevan where he has played since January of this year. In the ended season, he became the champion and cup winner of Armenia with Noah.
