The 2025/26 Armenian First League Championship has kicked off.

In the first round, Pyunik Academy was received by Urartu-2.

The main events of the match unfolded in the final part of the game. In the first minute added by the referee, our boys earned the right to a penalty kick, which was clearly scored by Artak Galstyan.

However, our team failed to maintain the winning score and just 4 minutes later, Urartu-2 player Arsen Arakelyan equalized the score with a header after a corner kick, 1:1.

Pyunik Academy will play their next match on August 12, hosting Shirak-2 in the second round of the championship.
