As it was reported earlier, the coaching staff of Pyunik’s newly appointed head coach Artak Oseyan will consist of Artur Mkrtchyan, Gor Malakyan, Artur Avagyan, Gurgen Hakobyan and Ciro Hosseini Varde'i.

Artur Mkrtchyan, the senior coach, has played for Pyunik for many years during his football career and is one of the best players in the history of our club. With Pyunik, he became a six-time champion of Armenia (1995/96, 1996/97, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), a three-time cup winner (1995/96, 2002, 2004) and a three-time super cup winner (1997, 2002, 2004). After finishing his football career, Mkrtchyan worked for many years in the coaching staff of Pyunik. In the previous two seasons, Artur Mkrtchyan was included in the coaching staff of Ararat-Armenia.

Gor Malakyan, who recently announced the end of his football career, is an alumnus of our club. Gor played for Pyunik in 2011-2014 and 2020-2021, becoming a two-time Armenian cup winner (2012/13, 2013/14) and a Super cup winner (2011). In recent years, he has been playing for Ararat Yerevan.

Artur Avagyan played for Pyunik in 2022-2023. He scored an assist and an accurate post-match penalty kick for our team in the match of theQ Champions League first round against the Romanian Cluj, helping Pyunik to have a historic win. In December 2023, after finishing his football career, Avagyan joined the coaching staff of Pyunik Academy.

Goalkeeper coach Gurgen Hakobyan has been engaged in coaching since 2007. From 2016 to 2018, he worked at the Pyunik Academy. From 2018 to this year, Gurgen Hakobyan worked as a goalkeeper coach at Ararat-Armenia-2, then in the main team of Ararat-Armenia. In different years, he was the goalkeeper coach of the Armenia U17, U18, U19 and youth teams. Since 2023, Hakobyan has been a goalkeeper instructor of FFA. Hakobyan has received a UEFA goalkeepers coaching license A.

`Physical training coach Ciro Hosseini Varde'i has been working with the Pyunik main team since 2018.In 2020, he already managed to work with Artak Oseyan in the coaching staff of our team.
