51-year-old specialist Arsen Avetisyan has been appointed forwards coach of Pyunik Academy.

Arsen Avetisyan is considered one of the best players in the history of Pyunik and is the club’s all-time top scorer (154 goals).

He played for Pyunik from 1992 to 1998 and from 2006 to 2007. During that time, he became five-time champion of Armenia (1992, 1995/96, 1996/97, 2006, 2007), cup winner (1995/96) and super cup winner (1997).

In 1994, he was named the best footballer of Armenia.

He twice became top scorer of the Armenian Premier League (1994, 1996/97), as well as top scorer of the 1994/95 European Championship.

Avetisyan is the author of the first goal for Pyunik in the European Cups (Pyunik – HJK, 3:1, 1996).

Since 2012 Arsen Avetisyan has worked at the Pyunik sports school as a coach.

Arsen Avetisyan has a UEFA coaching license A.
