Following the 2:0 victory over Ararat in the 4th round of the Armenian Premier League, Pyunik's head coach Artak Oseyan shared his thoughts on the match and answered journalists' questions:
"It turned out to be a rather difficult and emotional game. Today, Ararat defended very deep, and it was hard to break through such a defense. In general, matches against Ararat have been tough for us lately. However, I think we created enough goal-scoring opportunities in this match to score even earlier. In any case, we are happy with the win.
I don't think we have an issue with creating goal-scoring chances, but when it comes to clinical finishing, we definitely do. We need to improve this through daily work, and we have been focusing on it for a long time now.
Taking these last three matches into account, one could say that Gevorg Tarakhchyan performs better after coming off the bench. But I don't look at the situation that way. Both Gevorg Tarakhchyan and Vyacheslav Afyan, if they keep this up, will definitely get more playing time because the competition within our team is high. And every day they show that they are ready for that competition."
