FC Pyunik has a new player: Portuguese central defender Filipe Almeida has joined our team.

The 27-year-old footballer has played exclusively for Portuguese teams throughout his career. Almeida previously played for the youth teams of Trofense, Rio Ave and Braga, as well as for Villaverde, Merelinense and Leira.

Filipe Almeida’s previous team was the Portuguese second division team Feirense, where he has played since July 2023. In the 2024/25 season, he played 31 matches for Feirense in the Liga Portugal 2 and was the team’s captain.
