20-year-old sub-forward Narek Baroyan has left Pyunik Academy.

Narek started playing football at the age of 8 at the Vanadzor Football Sports School. He played in the Armenian children’s and youth championships for the Lori-05 team. In the spring of 2021, he was included in the Lori Vanadzor lineup list twice in the Armenian Premier League.

In July 2021, Baroyan moved to the Pyunik-05 team, with which he won the Armenian U18 Group A championship in the 2021/22 season, and was also named the best player of the championship.

In the fall of 2022, he participated in the matches against the French Nantes for the Pyunik U18 team in the framework of the 2022/23 Youth Champions League first round.

On April 1, 2023, in the match of the Armenian Premier League against BKMA (3:0), Narek Baroyan made his debut in the main team of Pyunik and played also one match in the following season.

In the summer of 2024, Narek participated in the matches against Dinamo Minsk for the Pyunik U18 team in the framework of the 2022/23 Youth Champions League first round.

Narek Baroyan was also invited to the Armenia U15, U17, U18 and U19 teams.

Last season, Baroyan played 18 games for Pyunik Academy in the Armenian First League and scored 5 goals.
