After a short break due to international matches, the Fastex Premier League championship resumed.

In one of the central matches of the round, Pyunik was received by the reigning champion Noah at Abovyan City Stadium.

Unfortunately, like in the previous match, this time our team conceded a goal in the very opening minutes of the match, and in both cases the goal was scored in the 3rd minute. After a three-step combination by Marin Jakolis-Takuto Oshima-Helder Ferreira, Jakolis faced alone Stanislav Buchnev, bypassed him and sent the ball into an empty goal, 1-0. Before that, Jakolis had hit Alemao in the face with his hand, but the head referee didn't change his decision after watching the VAR replay.

After the goal, the home team had another good opportunity when Gustavo Sangare broke into our team's penalty area from the right wing but Stanislav Buchnev played professionally after his shot.

In the 16th minute, Pyunik created the first serious moment at the Noah's goal. Alemao passed the ball from a standard position to the opponent's penalty area and our team's Portuguese defender Filipe Almeida headed it slightly wide from an advantageous position.

10 minutes later, after a corner kick by Javi Moreno, Mikhail Kovalenko could have equalized the score, but his header went high.

After the break, Jakolis again stood out with his activity for Noah,  making two dangerous shots at our team's goal.

In the 62nd minute, Pyunik managed to equalize the score. Javi Moreno, having received the ball from Daniel Aghbalyan, managed to get rid of the defenders' control and passed the ball to the center of the Noah penalty area, where Gevorg Tarakhchyan left Ognjen Cancarevic no chance with a powerful shot, scoring his first goal for Pyunik.

However, our team's joy was short:  just 2 minutes later, Marin Jakolis passed the ball to Helder Ferreira, who sent it into the Pyunik goal with one touch, 2-1.

In the 72nd minute, Matas Vareika fell in the opponent's penalty area in a fight with Yan Eteki, but referee Artak Vardanyan's whistle was silent.

And in the 79th minute, after the home team's corner kick, the ball accidentally hit Daniel Aghbalyan and ended up in our team's goal, 3-1. There were no more changes in the score for the rest of the game.

Despite the defeat, our team's play was not inferior to the opponent's one, the opponent was simply able to effectively use his chances.

Pyunik will play their next game on September 20, hosting BKMA at home.
