The Brazilian footballer joined our team in July 2023 and made his debut for Pyunik in the first qualifying round of the Conference League against Estonia’s Narva Trans  (2:0).

In his first season, Vagner Goncalves was able to strengthen himself in the main team and helped Pyunik win the Armenian championship in the 2023/24 season.

In the summer of 2024, during the pre-season training camp, Vagner suffered a serious injury that sidelined him for a long period. He returned to the field only in February of this year.

In total, the 29-year-old footballer played 58 games for our team, scoring 8 goals and providing 9 assists.
